An Offroader for Arnold Schwarzenegger

The reputation of S-TEC, a company of Magna, as an aftermarket expert has clearly spread all the way to Hollywood. As a case in point, Arnold Schwarzenegger, movie star and former governor of California, was received as a guest in the Offroad Competence Center in Albersdorf several times in recent months. His frequent visits were motivated by his recent acquisition of a Pinzgauer 6x6 718 K, which S-TEC then upgraded according to the exacting requests and taste of the Hollywood star.

S-TEC was contracted to modify the vehicle and succeeded not only in increasing the rated power to 180HP / 132KW, but also dramatically reduced the fuel consumption and the environmental impact compared to the original engine. Ever since his election as governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a tireless proponent of renewable energies and electric mobility.

During his numerous stays in Albersdorf, the "Terminator" convinced himself personally of the progress made on the conversion in the S-TEC specialist workshop, putting the Pinzgauer through its paces and subjecting it to several test drives. He was thrilled and totally convinced by both the S-TEC service and his new vehicle.

"Arnie" is also a great fan of another famous off-roader - the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, produced by Magna Steyr in Graz. The “Terminator” has been driving the popular off-road icon in America for decades and attended the world premiere of the new model at the Detroit Motor Show last year.

We congratulate Arnold Schwarzenegger on his new vehicle and wish him lots of fun off the road!
